OK, I’ve been bitten by the ‘Draw Something‘ bug. It’s currently the IN thing and the developer even has this line in their description at Google Play (formerly Android Market):

***The #1 Word Game in US, Australia, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Malaysia, and Singapore***

It’s really addictive and hilarious (especially when you play with someone who sucks at drawing).

In this game, each player takes turn to draw out the word they have chosen (you have three options) and the other player would have to guess what the word is. Yes, it’s that simple.

One can actually get a good laugh looking at some of the ‘masterpieces’. Here are two of them (mouse over the image to find out the word being drawn):
Squid

Roadkill

But sometimes, the words given can be really ‘tricky. I mean… How do we draw BEYONCE?
How to draw Beyonce?

OK. I’m no artist. I got an earful from my friend when I drew these for him:

First part of my masterpiece Second part of my masterpiece

I was trying to draw the word AUTOBOTS.

The first picture shows the emblem of Decepticons and Autobots. The second picture is supposed to be Bumblebee (cartoon version) transforming into a robot.

Oh ya… Beyonce. I think I got it figured out. Click ‘Continue reading’ to see what I drew… Continue reading »

Noticed the hotel cafe was selling this…
Giant doughnuts...

Never seen doughnuts this big before. I wonder if how it tasted…

On the way to Melaka yesterday morning, I had noticed a vantage point. I was wondering how the view would be like. So on the way back, I was on a lookout for a similar vantage point along the North-South Highway. And I found one…

This is the view from the top of the vantage point:

It was a disappointment. Can’t really see a lot from the vantage point. Maybe the other vantage points will have a better view…

Oh ya… Regarding the doughnuts… I bought both flavours to try out and they were… sadly, quite bad. It was quite hard and nothing really special (besides the size).
The two giant doughnuts I bought...

But at least I can say I tried it. :)

…is located in Setia Alam. :)

Plaque certifying Setia Alam pasar malam as the longest in Malaysia

Yup, currently, the longest pasar malam (night market) can be found in Setia Alam every Saturday night. The night market starts at about 5pm.

Lately, Gabriel’s started to take interest in airplanes. He would excitedly point out any airplane he sees. We decided to feed this obsession of his and show him the aiplanes up close.

A few weeks back, I had sent a relative off at the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and noticed there was an area that had a good view of airplanes taking off…

So, today, we gave Gabriel a big surprise. On the way to my in-law’s place, we took a detour to the LCCT…

Dang… Not again.

*sigh*

Hope it’s not due to the banana leaf rice I had yesterday.

Had fever late last night and was feeling very cold. Whole body was aching. Throat was dry and painful. Went to the clinic this morning and was told to rest at home and drink lots of water.

Could not resist and reject the invitation from a few friends to have banana leaf rice for lunch.

So off we went yet again to Nirvana in Bangsar. This is what I had…

Oh ya… Did I mention the mango lassi there is really thick and nice…? Yes, it is… ;)

I took the day off from work as I had a lot of personal stuffs to attend to…

I went to apply for a new bank book as the old bank book was in my mum’s handbag when it got snatched a few weeks back.

Also went to collect Mocha’s license. He’s now officially a legal ‘resident’ of Shah Alam.

Then there’s the little things like collecting Zachary’s MyKid, grocery shopping, more banking, etc…

My parents and my brother (together with his wife) dropped by last week… We ended up having a cake feast and had two really delicious cakes at one go!

Black sesame vs cheese cake...

One was Black Sesame cake and the other is a Cheese Cake. Both were tasty in their own way. Black Sesame cake was light and sweet. Cheese cake was heavy but tasty.

Both cakes are from Just Bake, a very nice bakery located in Setia Alam. They make really tasty and healthy breads and cakes.

A zen garden in an office block?!?

Wouldn’t it be nice to have such a tranquil scene at the workplace? Yes, this is a real garden right in the middle of an office block.

I just love the weekends. I’m sure everyone feels the same way.

It is the time to relax and unwind

This weekend, like most other weekends, I had some quality time with the family… :)
