Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall and discontinuation
It’s official. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been discontinued.
Over the last two days, there have been news that Samsung stopped the production of the Note 7 while they investigate incidents of replacement units catching fire.
Today, this was on Samsung Malaysia website:

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a near perfect device (I don’t like curved edges and I think they are not practical on phones). It is sad to see this “perfect” phone suffering this fate.
RIP, Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Looks like I’ll need to start backup up my stuff and prepare my old Samsung Galaxy Note II. Thank goodness there is microSD slot for both phones.
