Dear White 5055
Dear White 5055,
It is 7th July 2015. It rained a bit this morning. It caused the roads to be wet and slippery. It caused people to be late for school and work.
Your car was behind mine. Traffic was extra heavy this morning near Sterling PJ Condominium. Both of our cars were not moving. It was about 705am that you decided to switch from left lane to right lane.
As you switched lane, your car scraped the back bumper of my car. You realised that and stopped next to my car. You agreed we should stop our cars somewhere in front (as not to hold up traffic) and assess the damage (if any).
As my lane was slower, it took a while to reach “in front”. But I could not see you. I thought maybe you stopped further ahead and so I drove to Kelana Putera/ Kelana Puteri area. I still could not see your car anywhere. I made a U-turn and then tried to look for you near Paradigm Mall. But you were not there too.
I hope there had been some severe miscommunication this morning and that we ended up somehow waiting at different places. I have been taught to forgive people and as such, I’m not going to pursue the matter any further. But I do hope that for the sake of the children in your car, you be extra careful when driving. We are both very fortunate that this morning’s incident is a very minor one.
Thank you.
Update 1:
I just realized today is Global Forgiveness Day. I guess it is a sign that what I have decided to do is ‘right’.
